Celibate Idiot

Every time she talks,
I remember why I’m celibate

Some of the population
Developed more sensitive than others
With cells that dissolve when brushed
And this is my problem
With forgiving an individual
Because there is nothing left of
My intellect to touch

So disregard any temptation,
Any pull towards second thoughts
That possibly could be established
For my body has already wasted away
I let go of my grasp
Directly after my
Heart began to callous

And every night before I fall asleep…
I remember that I’m not fooling anybody
But myself…
